Design & Details

A small carved red flower with a black bead center sits at the top of the dark wood shaft. Below it, a round carved red bead — inscribed with a Chinese character — hangs between small black accent beads. Two dark cord strands descend from the center bead, each ending in a black bead and a carved red lotus bud drop. The entire upper shaft is wrapped in dark brown thread, extending the handcrafted texture from ornament to body.
